Our Junior Leadership in the Community (LinC) course is designed to encourage and develop leadership skills with young people who want to make a positive contribution to their community.
Anyone aged between 11 and 16 years can take part in our Junior LinC course. –
The course is delivered over the October Half Term beginning Monday 24th October running daily between11am to 4.pm with completion on Friday 28th October with presentation and certificate.
During the programme participants cover:
- Community development and how to undertake a community audit
- Planning a project, taking part in a project and reviewing it
- Leadership skills
- Communication
- Volunteering
- Activity tool bags
- First aid
