Thrill Seekers Raise over £15,000
Over 150 people took to the skies above Douglas Promenade over the weekend of 6th & 7th May and ziperdeedoodahed 1,000 feet at speeds up to 30 miles per hour along the longest zip wire event ever held in the Island raising a zip-fastic amount for The Children's Centre.

Known for its challenging fundraising events, Chief Executive Fiona Dawson said 'It was an incredible event that challenged boundaries for a lot of participants, including myself. This aligns with our charitable work that leads to increased confidence, self-esteem and a belief that despite challenges we can achieve with help and support. Thank you to everyone that took part and raised a significant amount of money that will directly benefit local children and young people.'
Even the Children's Centre Chairman, Mike Gardner accepted the challenge after the charities staff raised £200 in sponsorship to encourage him.
