£27,500 boost for The Children's Centre from Hansard International prize draw
Hansard International raised £27,500 for The Children's Centre by organising a prize draw to win a Mini Cooper. Tickets for the draw were sold during the summer as the highlight of a year of celebrations to mark Hansard International's 30th anniversary.
Gordon Marr, Chief Executive Officer, Hansard International, presented the cheque to Fiona Dawson, Chief Executive Officer of The Children's Centre, on November 2nd at the charity's headquarters in Woodbourne Road, Douglas. Fiona Dawson thanked Hansard International for choosing to support the charity, and added that the significant amount of funding will provide invaluable support for its wide range of charitable services for families and children.
Grace Hibbert was the lucky winner of the £15,000 Mini Cooper which will be supplied by Buchanan BMW & Mini, the franchise dealer for BMW and Mini on the Isle of Man.
