Charitable Services Manager

For over 150 years the Children’s Centre has helped children, young people and families with the aim of making the Isle of Man a safe and progressive community, one of the best environments in the world to be born, raised and live. 

 The Children’s Centre are looking for a strong people Manager to lead their Charitable Services Team who provide advice and support to children, young people and families though community-based activities and rural education projects at our farm.  Leading with a passion to make the difference this person will oversee the creation and management of innovative services focused on enabling children, young people and families to reach their full potential.

 As a member of the Management Team, the Charitable Services Manager will actively contribute to all organisational activity such as planning, management of organisational performance, safeguarding, financial monitoring and future decision making to ensure the wider organisation meets the strategic objectives and the longer term vision and goals of The Children’s Centre.   A Professional qualification in education, social work, health, community work or similar is essential. 

Experience of working at a strategic and senior management level within the Charitable Sector will be an advantage.
