Family Placement Service Team Leader

Purpose of Role:

The Team Leader is expected to lead, motivate, nurture and manage this new service and is responsible for the line management and professional supervision of team members of the Family Placement Service ensuring that services delivered to families and children are of high quality and meet identified need. This also includes ensuring that outcomes are regularly recorded and assisting the Family Placement Services Manager in the collation and analysis of data. The role holder will take a lead in managing referrals to the service, allocation and delivery of work across the team.

The Team Leader will work alongside the Family Placement Services Lead in maintaining excellent working relationships with the Department of Health and Social Care and colleagues in other agencies and disciplines. The role holder will deputise for the Family Placement Services Lead in their absence.
