Children & Families Practitioner

We are looking for enthusiastic, dynamic and self-motivated individuals to join our lively as Children and Family Practitioners both full time and on a term time basis. In these roles you will provide advice and support to children, young people and families through community-based activities and rural education projects at our farm, and via our contact centre. The primary focus for this role is to work with families where there are children and parents/carers, facing challenge.

You must be confident in dealing with different personalities in emotionally volatile situations. You will preferably have experience in education, social work, health, youth / play / early years work or similar. Personal resilience, enthusiasm and the ability to engage and influence a variety of people is a must together with the confidence to deal with difficult situations.

A full driving licence and access to own vehicle is a must. In the full time role you will work flexibly over a 35 hour week. In the term time only, you will work full days during term time with the school holidays as non working days. You must have a flexible approach to work and be able to work occasional weekend hours to support our events or in our contact centre.
