Children & Families Practitioner

We are looking for an enthusiastic, dynamic and self-motivated individuals to join our lively team as a Term time only Children and Family Practitioner.  In this role you will provide advice and support to children, young people and families through community-based activities and rural education projects at our farm, and via our contact centre.

The primary focus for this role is to work with families where there are children and parents/carers, facing challenge.  You must be confident in dealing with different personalities in emotionally volatile situations. 

You will preferably have experience in education, social work, health, youth / play / early years work or similar.  Personal resilience, enthusiasm and the ability to engage and influence a variety of people is a must together with the confidence to deal with difficult situations.  A full driving licence and access to own vehicle is a must.

You must have a flexible approach to work and be able to work occasional weekend hours to support our events or in our contact centre.

Saturday Contact Centre Worker

We are looking for resilient and self-motivated individuals to join our lively team.  Giving opportunities for children to maintain relationships with both parents our contact centre offers a structured but neutral environment which is important to the wellbeing of the children concerned. 

In the role of Saturday Contact Centre Worker you will be responsible for the smooth running of the sessions between children and their respective parents. The role requires a non-judgemental approach, good observational skills, excellent literacy skills and the confidence to deal with difficult situations. 

You will preferably have experience in education, social work, health, youth / play / early years work or similar.  Personal resilience, enthusiasm and the ability to engage and influence a variety of people is a must together with the confidence to deal with difficult situations.  A full driving licence and access to own vehicle is a must. .
