Partnerships

Partnerships are fundamental to our services, activities and events at The Children’s Centre.

Domestic Abuse

The Joanna Simpson Foundation are funding a three year project for us to deliver a dedicated domestic abuse service on the Isle of Man.

Every person and their circumstances are different, so the help we offer will is just as unique. Support will be planned in partnership with the individual, family and often other services, to ensure that needs are being met. We use a range of therapeutic tools to promote empowerment, encouraging people to achieve their goals by focusing on building confidence and resilience.

Manx Children's Art Therapy

Manx Children’s Art Therapy is a registered charity on the Isle of Man. Together we work in partnership to provide a clinical art psychotherapy service four days a week at The Children’s Centre to help children living with long-term physical or mental health problems, and to help support their families.

Our Services

  • Children and Young People

Our services directly address the behavioural, learning or emotional wellbeing issues which are often the result of challenging life experiences.

  • Families

Our family support service believes in the power of early intervention – helping families, particularly those with young children, when they realise that they are struggling to cope.

  • Schools

If you are a teacher or school leader looking for additional support for children and young people who are dealing with challenging issues, we can help.
