Set on 17 acres of beautiful farmland on the outskirts of Douglas, our Child Contact Centre at Wallberry Farm offers a calm, nurturing environment where families can spend meaningful time together. Surrounded by nature, friendly animals, and open green space, it’s a place designed to help strengthen family bonds in a relaxed and supportive setting.

Originally established and accredited in 2011, The Children’s Centre‘s Child Contact Centre is proud to have  been successfully achieved Enhanced re‑accreditation by the National Association of Child Contact Centres (NACCC) in March 2026. We provide a safe, neutral place where children can meet a parent or family member they don’t live with, while trained staff oversee their family time arrangement. The goal is to ensure the child’s welfare and support positive relationships.

In our Family Room, families can enjoy a cosy living room-style space with plenty of toys, books, and games, as well as a fully equipped kitchen for preparing meals, snacks, and drinks. The space also offers a television with access to several platforms for relaxed movie time, or the perfect setting for a fun family dance session. Everything is designed to help children and parents feel at ease and make the most of their time together.

Supervised Contact

Supported Contact

Supervised Handover

Our Child Contact Centre can offer a variety of supervised arrangements supported by a team fully trained in NACCC guidelines, ensuring a safe, professional, child-centred approach at all times. Our priority is providing a safe and nurturing atmosphere where children can enjoy quality time with their non-resident family members.

During these sessions your child/children will remain within sight and sound of the supervisor at all times. Observations will be made, and reports will be written; such observations may be produced as evidence in court.

Staff will be present at times throughout the family time arrangement to ensure the comfort of those engaging in the service. Staff are not present at all times, and direct observations will not be made, and no reports will be written.

Handover provides a supportive environment whereby your child can move from one parent/carer to the other parent/carer at the beginning and end of family time. Handovers can take place at our Child Contact Centre or in a suitable community location.
