Needle Felted Gonks - Workshop
Join us for a delightful needle felting workshop led by our talented crafting expert, Annie Eastham. In this session, you'll discover the simple yet satisfying process of transforming soft wool into a delightful gonk using a special barbed needle. Annie will be there every step of the way, showing you all the techniques you need.
This workshop is designed for complete beginners—no experience necessary! You'll leave not only with a fantastic handmade creation but also with the skills and confidence to continue your needle felting journey.
We provide all the wool (hand dyed and from our very own sheep at the farm), needles, and tools. Simply come ready to relax, create, and have some fun with fellow crafters!
What you'll learn:
Basic needle felting techniques
How to shape wool into a solid form
Attaching and adding details such as beards, eyes and hats to your gonk
Please note that this activity involves repetitive use of a very sharp needle.
Date: 6th November 2025
Time: 6pm - 8:30pm
Location: The Children’s Centre Longbarn
Tea and cakes will be provided!
