Sitara Freedom Dance Workshop
Led by Rosemary O’Donohue, Facilitator of sacred movement & transformation and Founder of Sitara Cacao & StillPoint Breathwork.
During this unique workshop, the first of its kind in our newly opened Wellbeing polytunnel, you will start a cacao drinking ceremony before embarking on a powerful ecstatic dance journey that will awaken the body, clear the mind, and reconnect you to your inner freedom. With Rosemary’s decades of experience in somatic healing and sacred ceremony, her sessions combine conscious movement, breath, music, and cacao to guide you out of the loop of the mind and into the joy of presence. Each dance is an invitation to let go, to feel, and to remember—you are already free.
Our Wellbeing space offers a sanctuary where you can connect with nature's rhythm. Under Rosemary's guidance, you'll be inspired to move freely and dance like no one is watching. The music is a carefully crafted journey through sound, breath, and movement, helping you find a state of pure bliss, calm, and joy.
Date: Thursday 2nd October
Time: 18:00 - 20:00
Location: The Children’s Centre, Wallberry Farm (Wellbeing Polytunnel)
Tickets are £30.00 per person for this workshop
Rosemary tells us that there are 5 proven ways dancing helps:
It releases tension – Dancing moves your body in ways that melt away tightness and stress held in your muscles.
It lifts your mood – Movement stimulates feel-good chemicals like dopamine and serotonin, helping you feel lighter and happier.
It gets you out of your head – Dancing brings you fully into the moment, letting thoughts settle so your body can find calm and ease.
It boosts confidence – Expressing yourself through movement improves self-image and helps you feel more free in your body.
It creates connection – Dance often brings us together, reducing loneliness and reminding us we’re part of something bigger.
